After graduating with a 1st Class Honours degree in Accounting and Finance, Emma went on to gain her ACCA qualification 3 years later, whilst working in a small local practice. To gain a wider experience of all aspects of accounts and taxation, she then went on to work at a local office of a national firm. Emma moved to Charnwood Accountants as a Client manager in 2007, where she has had the opportunity to work more closely with the clients within her portfolio, in order to be able to offer them a quality service, whilst meeting all their accounting, audit and taxation needs.
Outside of work Emma likes to keep active and is passionate about health and wellness. She is a member of a local bootcamp where she attends sessions at least 3 times a week and loves walking the family dog Marley. She enjoys travelling with her husband and teenage son and weekends away with friends. She also likes to support local charity Living Without Abuse, by helping out at events and raising money; she recently completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge as part of a charity team.
