Stuart started on a training contract straight after A-Levels in 2003 at a local firm, qualifying as a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians in 2005 and is now a Fellow of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, having qualified in 2008 with first time passes in all exams. Stuart has mainly worked in local practices, with a year working in the audit team at an international firm before joining Charnwood in January 2015 to return to working more closely with a portfolio of OMB clients. He is experienced in working with a large range of clients, from small businesses to £100M+ turnover companies and groups. Stuart has also developed a specialism for solicitors’ audits. Having developed a broad skill base working with owner managed businesses, Stuart enjoys his role with a varied portfolio of clients, providing them with an efficient and proactive service that focuses on both their business and personal requirements.
Outside of work Stuart has a keen interest in dining out and cookery, as well as travelling with his wife Jo. His main passion though is running, he runs competitvely for Notts AC and Barrow Runners and has won county, regional and national honours and aims to represent England in the near future.
