Dave Barnett FCA

Dave is one of the founding partners at Charnwood Accountants and Business Advisors LLP, Dave has been advising owner managed businesses as a Chartered Accountant and Business Advisor since the mid 80's. Dave's clients include a wide range of businesses in many different sectors, however Dave does have a particular interest in advising other professional partnerships such as solicitors. Dave heads up the sales and marketing at Charnwood Accountants and has been very successful in delivering our growth plans since our inception in 2004 even through the recession. Dave enjoys sharing this skill with his clients to enable them to grow and prosper. Prior to starting Charnwood Accountants Dave was a partner at another local firm but wanted to deliver a far more proactive service to his clients. Dave is an avid supporter of Leicester Tigers and a keen golfer and member of Longcliffe Golf Club in Loughborough.

Dave McKeon FCCA

Dave is the other founding partner of Charnwood Accountants and Business Advisors LLP. Dave has been practising in Accountancy for over 25 years. Dave's previous experience includes heading up the small business division at a national practice, at which he built up acumen for good people skills and liaising with staff; these are skills Dave adopts on a daily basis at Charnwood Accountants and he is a great ambassador for good people management amongst his clients. This follows the firm belief that excellent client service is delivered by excellent people. Dave has developed a number of unique tax planning opportunities for his clients over recent years which have led to £100k's in tax savings being generated for his client base. Outside of the office Dave has developed a keen interest in fishing and is a big football fan.

Andrew Maidstone BA Hons (Accounting) MBA FCA CTA

In addition to holding an honours degree in Accounting, Andrew has a masters degree in Business Administration and he is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor. Having previously been a specialist tax partner with a national firm of accountants, he then established and grew his own firm from scratch. He sold that practice before joining Charnwood Accountants in 2009. Andrew's specialisms include advising on the buying and selling of businesses (including the mitigation of tax liabilities), tax efficient corporate reorganisations and proactive tax planning for businesses and high net worth individuals. Clients find both the professional relationship, and the tax savings which that relationship affords, to be highly valuable in arranging their business and personal affairs.
